Download a design for your free Christmas Card from the card designs from below. You will likely already have Acrobat PDF Reader installed on your machine, if not to view these Christmas greeting cards and many other pdfs on the Internet you can download it here .

To carve a Halloween Jack O Lantern first we need to pick the perfect pumpkin think about the designs you will be carving into them. This will allow you to create a shopping list or at least a mental idea of the shapes and sizes of pumpkins you’ll need. Ensure its as smooth as possible and free of scratches, dents or gouges.

Cut a circle around the stem of the pumpkin head on an angle in a cone shape as shown in the video below. Use a sharp knife with long, sturdy blade. this stops the stem from falling into the pumpkin, ensure the hole is large enough to place you hand in to remove the seeds and stringy membrane.

Scoop out the centre of the pumpkin to be your Jack O Lantern, use a ice cream scoop to make this easier

Find the face of your pumpkin to decide his best face of your Halloween Pumpkin Head. Draw the design or print on of the Jack O Lantern Pumpkin Head Stencils. Tape the design to the pumpkin and mark out the design by punching through the paper into the pumpkin with a sharp point for example a large nail.

Now with a sharp serated edged knife, cut out the design following the holes as a guide. Push out the pieces.

The finished result, just add a light.

Halloween Game: Pin the Tail on the Black Cat
Draw a big picture outline of a cat on black poster board with a glitter collar and glitter eyes and detachable tail.

Halloween Game: Jack O Lantern Toss-Five paper pumpkins
For the halloween pumpkins uses some newspaper and roll it into a ball shape and surround that with orange crepe paper for the pumpkin skin, twist on top and secure with green string or rubber band). Make different faces on each pumpkin with black marker. Have a look at the Jack O lantern stencils for further ideas

First Halloween game - toss into black cauldron or empty large pumpkin.
Second Halloween game - line pumpkins on table in row and knock off with small light balls or beanbags (I prefer beanbags).
Third Halloween game-roll into bowling ball pins try cheap ones from Walmart - like 5.00, alternatively empty soda liter
bottles. You can use the real miniature pumpkins for this if you don’t want to make the crepe balls.

Halloween Apple bobbing-some people don’t like this because of germs (others are okay with it) but
beware it does make a mess so needs to be outdoors!

How Much is in the Witches Jar Game
Guess how many candy corn in the jar to tie in with estimation in math. The winner that comes closest gets the candy or you can use Halloween M & M’s as well.

Halloween Ghost Bingo Game
Buy some Bingo cards and replaced the word Bingo with GHOST and cut each card to fit inside my cutout of a ghost - lots of fun! Winner has to yell “I got the ghost!”

Howling Halloween Story Game
Tell spooky stories or create a spooky story chain.

Halloween Ghost Hunt Game
Make cutouts of graves, witches, ghosts, black cats and haunted house
shapes - each table has one shape to look for. Hide 6 of these shapes in the
room where the kids can spy for these from their tables and the first one to find all
of their group’s shape wins.

Halloween Race Game
Blow up orange and black balloons then race with the balloons between the kids knees.

Halloween Face
Use some face paint to draw pictures of bats, ghosts, pumpkin shapes, on kids faces.

The first thing that needs to be considered when planning a wedding is how much time you will give yourself for the planning. In essence; this means what day that you will set the date of the wedding.

This may sound like a trivial matter, but it really is important because it will let you know what the time limit is for making your preparations.

Some weddings can take up to 3-4 months to prepare for and plan. This is pretty typical; depending on how big you are planning for your wedding to be and how fancy
etc.

If you are not giving yourself more than a month, then wedding planning is naturally different. Because of the differences in the time that you are giving yourself to planning the wedding, it is best to give the best planning methods and you may use them or not use them as they apply to your case.

One of the most important factors that go with planning a wedding is determining who you will be delegating specific duties to. For example, if you are terrible at choosing flowers, who will you assign to do it for you?

It is always best to try to give different duties to others so that you will not be overwhelmed by them yourself. Let’s take a look at some of the various duties that you can hand out:

Catering: Who do you believe would be the best person to handle all of the arrangements for the food and drink at your wedding?

Invitations and seating arrangements: This person will be addressing and mailing out invitations and making sure that people are seated in a fashion that will ensure every ones mutual comfort and enjoyment

Decorations for wedding and reception includes center pieces

Rehearsal dinners etc.

Music and/or DJ

Brides maid and groomsmen gifts and favors

Gowns, and tuxedos

Bridal showers/bachelor parties etc.

All of these things are usual must haves when it comes to a wedding, unless of course, you opt not to have bridesmaids or groomsmen in the wedding. All of these things can be murder to try to do on your own as well.

That is why you have to get in touch with people who are capable of taking over some of the menial jobs for you. All of these things seem small at first, but they can quickly add up to quite a bit of money when they are all combined together.

After you have delegated the responsibilities, you should next set a specific time period to have all of the tasks completed. Creating a wedding to-do list and time sheet is a great way to do this. That way, when all of the tasks are finished you can easily check them off.

You should set up specific times and days to discuss the progress of things as well, just in case things are not going so well. In doing this you will be able to help make sure that all things are running smoothly.

You might be wondering what happens when you have done all of this and are ready to get started. First of all, you have to be willing to follow the general wishes of the couple to be wed; that is unless you are the couple and are planning your own wedding.

When planning a wedding on a budget you have to lower your requirements just a bit. For example, you can’t try to have to filet mignon if you are throwing the wedding on a fish stick budget. I have broken down the various aspects of the wedding planning to the last details so that you will get a better idea of what I mean.

Wedding Plan Steps

Ideally, you would want to have at least a year to plan the wedding, but that is not always possible or desired. For the purposes of this guide, I have set up a 12 month wedding timeline that will certainly make it a little bit easier to host your wedding.

Perhaps the most important thing that must be done when you are ready to begin planning your wedding is to first create your wedding budget. Your budget is important because it is almost impossible to know what you can afford for each aspect of the wedding if you don’t give yourself a limit to the overall spending costs. For most people, creating the wedding budget is the hardest job to do because you want to have the nicest and most memorable wedding that you can afford.

The days when the wedding is paid for by the parents of the bride are practically gone now. Parents will often contribute to the wedding cost as a gift to the couple, but it rather rare for parents to cover the whole cost of the wedding these days.

Usually it is because the parents simply can’t afford it, but couples today often prefer to pay for their own weddings because it ensures that they can do it the way that they want to without interference.

A lot of the time, parents will forego paying for the wedding and pay for the honeymoon instead. Basically this makes creating your own wedding budget very important; especially if you are paying for both the wedding and the honeymoon yourself.

These days, 4 out of 5 couples pay for their own wedding and it helps to know the wedding budget breakdown. The chart below should help to give you an idea of the wedding budget percentages involved.

This chart is a general breakdown of the costs and how much of your budget should be applied to what.

As with the above chart, when creating your actual wedding budget, you should use the chart information as a guided starting point. From this chart, you will next have to create your actual dollar budgeted amount.

When creating your budget, you will first begin with the overall amount that you can afford to spend. The average wedding today costs approximately $19,000. This is not a definite, but this is what the figures currently show.

Now you will need to take that starting amount and apply it to an actual separate dollar amount. Use our Wedding Budget Planner and Calculator Spread Sheet to help you.

With the Wedding Budget Planner and Calculator Spread Sheet all that you have to do is give it the individual amounts and then it will calculate for you how much money that you will have to spend on each aspect of your wedding, with a total overall cost for the wedding.

The Wedding Budget Spread Sheet will show you is what needs to be done in order to fulfill your wedding hopes.

This is necessary in order to know if what you dream of can even be afforded within your set budget. If it can’t, you will have to do any or all of the following:

Lower the guest list

Forego some of the services

Lessen the wedding party

Forget the extras like limos

It is with the budget that you can set realistic goals for your wedding and whether or not if your budget is realistic to your finances. If it isn’t, you will have to change or get rid of something. It’s that simple.

Once you have decided what you want to include and what you can afford, it is on to the wedding planning stage.
