How to Easily Clean and Sanitise Your Washing Machine After Washing Pet Bedding

Bleach

1. Fill the machine with hot water to the maximum level
2. Add 1 cup of bleach,
3. Set the washing machine to run for a full cycle (without any laundry). The rinse cycle will wash out the bleach

   FYI –

   Interesting fact. Do NOT use hot water with bleach. Only use luke warm water. Hot water deactivates the bleach. The best thing to do is to use warm water with bleach and then hot water to rinse.

   I owned a restaurant and when the health dept. came in to check, they’d write us up if we had hot water in the “sanitize” tub. It was luke warm water only.
