If it’s an older design, where wood is going to rub on wood, there’s a simple solution. Wax. Dig out some crayons, and color in the parts that have obviously been rubbing. Problem solved.
For a more recent design, you have to ensure that all of the hardware is tightened. Check to see if the track is aligned. Make sure that any bearings have proper lubrication.
