ImageSometimes when washing we need to wash clothes which contain grease, however the wash leaves a greasy drum in our washing machine here is what I do to clean it

What’s required
Bleach

Here is what to do:

  1. Fill the machine with hot water to the maximum level
  2. Add 1 cup of bleach
  3. Set the washing machine to run for a full cycle (without any laundry). The rinse cycle will wash out the bleach

  2. That’s a great tip! My clothes get dingy, no matter what I do and boy oh boy does my mother get smug about it. (only she can keep us clean and tidy!) I told her I think my washer is “dirty” and she laughs at me. Now I know I wasn’t imagining it. Thanks

  3. Thanks for the great tip!! My husband’s work and play clothes are always full of grease. I never thought about “cleaning” the washing machine. I can not wait to share this.
